Advanced Open Water
Upon completing the Open water diver Course many people are curious about a variety of different types of diving. The Advanced Open water Diver Course is designed to open your eyes to the many types of diving that pique your interest!
Course prerequisites
- PADI Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization)
- Minimum age: 15 (12 for PADI Junior Advanced Open Water Diver)
This certification includes five Adventure Dives, including the Deep Adventure Dive, the Underwater Navigator Adventure Dive, the Night Adventure Dive and two of the following:
- Dry Suit Diver
- Diver Propulsion Vehicle
- Multilevel Diver
- Peak Performance Buoyancy
- Search and Recovery Diver
- Underwater Naturalist
- Underwater Photographer
- AWARE Fish Identification
- Wreck Diver
These 5 dives are conducted over 1 evening and 1 weekend. After these five dives, you'll be more experienced, feel more comfortable in the water and simply enjoy diving more because you better understand the underwater environment.

The cost of the course is $229, including gear (mask/snorkel/fin rental not included). Because of the advanced nature of the adventure dives, a light, knife, glow stick, slate, compass and all other equipment suitable for our local waters are required. See shop for advanced packages.
Members may also choose to complete their advanced course 1 dive at a time ($50/dive) half price on gear rental
