As our PADI Course Director (the highest rating in PADI), Donald trains all levels of PADI Instructors. He's trained over 1000 PADI Instructors, and he always makes Instructor training easy and enjoyable, with no wasted time (it's only three weekends long). Most importantly, he prepares you to be successful in the real world of diving with a full-time or a part-time career.
As well as teaching Instructors at the club, Donald also enjoys teaching all of the other PADI programs from Open Water upward. You'll often see him in the pool teaching first time divers for the club. Many of his students have gone on to be very successful Instructors, and if you have 60 logged dives, he will usually convince you to complete the PADI Instructor Development Program. Donald also teaches PADI Tec and Trimix Diver Instructor programs, Divers Alert Network Diving Medicine Instructor programs, and Emergency First Response Instructor programs.
You can book private time to chat with Donald (in person or on iChat/MSN) anytime at all about becoming an Instructor and working locally or traveling the world. He also runs Careers in Diving Parties at the Aqua Society on a regular basis.
Donald is a Producer in the Vancouver Film and TV business, and an avid skydiver/pilot, but his true passion is teaching diving.
