Scuba Dive in pants!
If you want to see our colder B.C. waters without the added discomfort of a wetsuit you can stay warm via a dry suit. But, you want to be trained in proper techniques and this is where Dry Suit orientation comes into play.
Course Prerequisites
- PADI Open Water Diver or Junior Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from another organization)
- Minimum age: 12 years old
Course Description
During your Dry Suit orientation, you’ll not only cover the background knowledge related to dry suit diving, you’ll go up to the aquatic center for 1 evening to practice in a confined environment. Once you have completed this orientation, you’ll have the experience necessary to go on a club dive, a charter, or another course in a drysuit. The drysuit specialty is recommended, but if you’re short on time, this is a great way to get into a drysuit fast!
