Sea Lions! (February 2nd-3rd)

Hello Scuba Enthusiasts!

Did you happen to miss the booking for the sea lion trip? Good news! We are running another trip in February! There are nine available spots to head out to Hornby Island for the weekend of February 2nd to the 3rd! So book while you can!

For this weekend trip we will start by taking the ferry from Tsawwassen to Nanaimo. Bring your coffee folks because you’re gonna need it! Once at Nanaimo we will drive to Courtney where we will do two shore entrance dives at local sights. After the dives are over we will get some dinner at a local restaurant and eventually head to bed to be up bright and early for the boat to Hornby Island. There, we will be able to complete our two dives at various locations on the island depending on the Sea Lions locations for the day.

Due to the abundance of seals(roughly 100) we will have to limit the trip to those who have a lot of experience and are Advanced Open Water level certified. This will aid in creating a safe and enjoyable environment for all divers on the trip. If you do not qualify for this level of certification, don’t worry! Come back to book another dive with the Aqua Society so we can get that experience under your belt before adventuring out with the sea pups!  Alternatively, you can get Advanced Open Water certified before going on the trip on January 12-13th through Aqua Society.
