Description

Now is the time!

Dive into the PADI Open Water Diver course, the most popular dive program in the world!

As a certified PADI Open Water Diver, the most widely recognized and respected rating in the world, you can have the freedom to dive with a buddy in the open water (ie. ocean, lakes, etc.)on your own. Explore the local BC waters and discover the rich marine life, from giant Plumose Anemones, schools of fish and crabs, great pacific octopuses, seals, and much more!

We include drysuit rentals in our course, allowing you to stay dry and comfortable year-round.

Two Certifications in One: To dive locally with a dry suit you will need to show a recognized Dry Suit Specialty Certification in order to rent. We include this certification (normally $349.95) at a discount in our course pricing and streamline the training with your Open Water training, which saves you both money and time. Doing all 5 of the open water dives in a drysuit allows you to get more experience in the suit in a controlled and safe way, and you get to be more comfortable!

We provide the lowest student-to-instructor ratios of 4:1 or better to provide safety and attention to our students. We also provide more pool (6 hours) and in-person classroom (12 hours) enrichment which are longer than what other local dive shops offer. You will be a more prepared and informed diver.

Virtually anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can earn a PADI Open Water Diver certification and enroll in our PADI Open Water Diver course. You must be older than the age of 15 (Divers under 15 and would like to participate in the PADI Open Water Diver course, then the PADI Jr Open Water Diver course is available to you).  Divers will also want to take this opportunity to start building a personal gear setup by providing their own Mask and Snorkel, we provide all other rentals.

Once certified you can dive to 60′ /18m anywhere in the world, and this is a lifetime certification!

A Drysuit Specialty is mandatory to rent and dive in a Drysuit.

Note: Divers will need to fill up the medical questionnaire. (The PADI Medical form will need to be signed by a physician if participants have any “YES” answers in the medical questionnaire.) For more information about our cancellation policy, rescheduling policy and student diver responsibility, please review the Learning Agreement.
